Outer Harbour Ship Lifter Project

The Land Management Corporation awarded Bardavcol the $13m marina construction in Largs North in 2007. The marina consisted of 180 berths to accommodate recreational and commercial vessels as well as the incorporation of an industrial estate for marine related activities.

 

The project required construction of pile capping beams with cast in angle for berthing of vessels. Once the capping beams were complete, excavation took place and the remaining pile protection was completed over water, working out of a personnel box.
