Tailem Bend Foundation Replacement Project

About the Project

Jamtek was engaged by Enerven Energy Infrastructure to replace and install six tower foundation beams for electrical towers across the Tailem Bend region—an essential part of the transmission network between South Australia and Victoria.

Working within a tight timeframe, Jamtek delivered critical works including excavation, FRP of the foundation beams, in addition to navigating its way around challenges faced throughout the project such as dewatering due to rainfall, and the construction of access roads to ensure sufficient access to all towers —all completed without disruption to the energy grid.
